St. Vinnies Night Patrol

Volunteering with St. Vinnies “Night Patrol Service” for Homelessness (Sydney).

Rostered volunteers prepare and pack lunches, biscuits, juice, fruit coffee and drive to three ‘Sydney’ locations (Martin Place, Central Station & Redfern)

Food/Clothing Donations

During the 2019-2020 Summer Bushfires, Awakening The Senses became a ‘Collection Point’ for Fire Relief Donations (Sydney South Branch).

Donations were then dropped off to a storage facility in Appin, sorted and then trucked down to the South Coast.

The Water Project

Raised funds for an international charity which resulted in the installation of a 10,000-litre rainwater tank in a Kenyan school. Previously these kids would walk for kilometres to and from school with their own supply of water on a daily basis.

A Sound Life

Volunteering with ‘A Sound Life’ charity providing monthly music at ‘Buckingham House’
(Mental Health Drop-in Centre).

‘A Sound Life’ uses music, yoga and meditation to help people cope with adversity & stress.

Change 4 Chiloe

In 2019, the small island of ‘Chiloe’ (southern Chile) was devastated with the death of millions of fish species, including red salmon. The local artisan communities which relied heavily on the fishing and tourist trade for their livelihood were left without a source of income.

Along with a group of individuals we reached out to local school teachers on the island who identified a number of families affected by the natural disaster. A concert was quickly organised of Sydney-based Latin musicians and food retailers to help raise funds for this fishing community.

Kids Kards 4 Charity

Developed ‘Inspirational Greeting Cards’ with artwork designed by children ages between 8-12yrs old.

All funds raised from this initiative were donated to The Water Project which aims to bring clean drinking water to schools and communities in impoverished countries throughout the world.
